SAI in Prague for Shared Services Week with IQPC

May 2007

Cashbook Ltd (www.cashbook.com) attended IQPC’s European-based Shared Services Week in Prague, Czech Republic. The conference focused on the implementation, refining and challenges associated with shared service centers. Presentations were made from companies such as Tetra Pak, P&O, HP and SAP. Numerous vendors were in attendance such as Atradius, Atos Consulting and BasWare.

Greg Coulter, Managing Director of SAI noted “We’ve been coming along to these events for years and it’s interesting to see familiar faces returning at different stages of the SSC evolution. Our experience of implementing Cashbook into numerous Shared Service Centers across Europe and North America gives us a unique perspective on the process. We’ve seen well implemented SSC’s and poorly implemented SSC’s. Many companies are in such a rush to get the SSC live they simply replicate the same inefficient business processes that have been in place for years. We suggest companies review technologies such as our own before they complete their resource planning.”
