Collaborate ‘09’, USA JDE Users and Cashbook

Cashbooks team of Greg Coulter – Chief Executive and Jordan Niles – Business Development Associate have returned back in high spirits from Collaborate ‘09 held in May 2009 Orlando, Florida. The increased interest in Cashbook as a solution for JDE customers in the area of Bank Reconciliation, Deductions Reconciliation, Automated Cash Application, AR Lockbox, OCR AR remittance processing, and ACH is evident by the high degree of interest in our stand. ’This years conference surpassed our expectations in turns of interest in our products, showing the real need in the marketplace for a product such as Cashbook to enable companies automate static business processes – Greg Coulter –Chief Executive- Cashbook Ltd’

With its latest release V5.1.01 on show at the exhibition, Cashbook demonstrated functionality in our latest in-progress development - Payroll E-mail encryption for the electronic distribution of employee pay details. This enables our customers to process the payroll through a specialized system and then using Cashbook automatically transmit ACH payments while sending an encrypted email to the employee containing all their pay details. At the same time as this process we can create ACH payments directly from JDE payment files with emails with invoice details included.

Alongside Cashbook was Cforia, which specializes in the area of Credit & Collections management. A topic that raised its head again and again at the conference was the need for automatic deduction creation either from a remittance advice or from some file type generated by suppliers for returned product. Cashbooks deduction processing solution offers customers the ability to create these deductions automatically, referencing them to original sales orders, part numbers or whatever reference is being used by the supplier in the return documentation. Different logic can be used for the creation of deductions from different suppliers depending on the returns process. The deductions can then be classified based on specific criteria dictated by the client for ease of resolution. Automatic prioritization, stakeholder identification and notification, document imaging support and root cause tracking all form part of the solution.

Cashbook looks forward to the next exhibition for JDE Users which will be Quest’s Northeast Conference in Leyton, Massachusetts in mid July.
