Exide Technologies of Alpharetta Georgia, this week signed up to implement Cashbook's Bank Lockbox processing. As part of the Lockbox project, Cashbook will work with Exide to ensure that they receive information electronically in the correct format from their Bank. Cashbook will then work on automatically applying the cash received across 6 company divisions in Exide with matching rules that will cope with short payments, unallocated cash receipts, discount and non-AR manual receipts.
Exide's Brad Wheelus commented "We are looking forward to working with Cashbook to automate our JDE cash application process. Exide are continually striving for business process improvements, using Cashbooks powerful integrated Lockbox Processing utility will facilitate a more streamlined cash application process"
Cashbook’s Business Development Associate Gary Holt commented “We are committed to completing projects which automate people’s cash processing. We are currently working on a large number of accounts receivable automation projects in both North America and Europe. Significantly in JDE we are also finding bank reconciliations are not handled particularly well. We anticipate announcing a number of companies wishing to implement our out-of-the-box bank reconciliation solution at JDE’s Openworld conference in San Francisco in September.
