Financial Application Consultant

Are you a Qualified or Part-qualified Accountant with some Technical Background? (Practical Accounting experience compulsory).  

Have you worked with or been involved with the Implementation of any ERP systems (BPCS/LX XA/MAPICS, Infor M3, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, System21, Smartstream, Sage, TIMS, JDEdwards)? 

Would you like to Travel with your work?  

Based in Limerick, Cashbook Ltd. are looking to hire a Financial Application Consultant who will work closely with Clients, Project Managers and Product Development Managers to configure, deploy, and support the Cashbook cash management suite of applications globally. 

The Consultant will report to the Implementations & Support Manager.

Skills and Experience 

  • Completion of an Accounting Course or equivalent knowledge of accounting principles 
  • Experience of working in an Accounting environment 
  • European Language(s) beneficial but not essential 
  • Knowledge of ERPs and SQL advantageous 
  • Strong decision making, analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and ability to follow through tasks to completion 
  • Exceptional independent judgement and customer service skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 

Responsibilities 

  • Customer Support – providing resolution to client issues in a professional and timely manner 
  • Analyse information from Clients and assess any special requirements that may impact implementation 
  • Customise the application based on the Client requirements 
  • Manage time and scope to meet the client’s needs 
  • Regular reports and communications on Implementation 
  • Identify and manage risks and overcome any obstacles 
  • Complete testing of application with integration with ERPs for upgrading existing customers or new customers 
  • Troubleshooting and reporting of issues  
  • Provide Client training onsite and by web applications 
  • Identify product enhancements 
  • Must be willing to travel to the US
