Cashbook customer Portmeirion celebrates a record 2021

Portmeirion is a very well-established pottery company operates out of Stoke-on-Trent, England. Pottery brands manufactured and sold globally by Portmeirion include Spode, Royal Worcester, Pimpernel, Wax Lyrical, and Nambé. In January, Portmeirion revealed it expects 2021 sales to exceed £100 million and set a new company record. These sales represent an almost 20% increase in figures from 2020 and are 12% ahead of pre-pandemic figures for 2019.

Portmeirion has been a long-standing customer of Cashbook for over 10 years now. They use Cashbook’s cash automation software for multiple finance functions. The Cashbook Bank Reconciliation module is used to automate their reconciliations. We implemented the Global Payments module to automate payments and use our Cash Application module to streamline the accounts receivable process.

Portmeirion CEO Mike Raybould said: “I am delighted with the progress we have made as a business. Our sales are 12% above pre-Covid highs – a true testament to our global team’s efforts and the changes we’re driving.
