ICMT Awards 2025 – Winners Again!

On Friday November 14th, CEO Greg Coulter and Marketing Manager Dave Ewing attended the Irish Credit Team of the Year awards in the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire. Cashbook have sponsored an award at this event for the last several years, and we were happy to participate again this year.

It’s a credit to our host Declan Flood (Chief Executive of ICMT) that this event seems to have grown yet again.

They had just sat down at their table when Declan started his MC duties and proceeded to announce the first few awards. Much to our surprise, Cashbook won the first award of the afternoon – Credit Process Automation Team of the Year. Believe it or not, this was our second year in a row that we won this award. Greg and Dave were mid-conversation with their tablemates when they suddenly heard “the winner this year is Cashbook”. They were caught on the hop but recovered quickly!

After the first batch of awards, the starter was served. There were some more awards, then the main course. That was followed by another batch of awards and dessert. This staccato format was the perfect cadence for the event and kept things interesting and engaging.

After the dessert, there was a short table quiz. A few early slip-ups cost the Cashbook team some points. Despite getting the last 11 questions correctly in a row, they were a few places behind the winners.

To finish off the event, there was one last batch of awards, including the category that Cashbook were sponsoring – FMCG Credit Team of the Year. The winners this year were Tayto. Congratulations to them on their continued success.

All in all, it was another excellent event and it’s always a pleasure to attend.
