Mary O’Brien starts new role as Chief Product Officer of Cashbook

LIMERICK, IRELAND – January 15th, 2020. Cashbook announced today that Mary O’Brien has been named the new Chief Product Officer, overseeing the company’s product development. In this role she will lead Cashbook in designing new product capabilities to enhance Cashbook’s capabilities in cash application, deduction management, bank reconciliation and electronic payments. Mary started this new role on January 15th, 2021 and will be based in Cashbook’s HQ in Limerick, Ireland.

Mary most recently served as USA Director running support & implementations out of Chicago for the last four years. She has completed numerous successful implementations, upgrades, and has travelled extensively across North America. Under Mary’s guidance, North America has grown to become 65% of Cashbook’s overall business and it’s most important market.

New Role

Mary O’Brien is a qualified CPA and has been on the Cashbook Board of Directors since 2002. “I’ve worked for a long time with many customers implementing the Cashbook application. As a Director, employee, and owner of Cashbook for the last twenty years. I have always been proud of Cashbook’s capabilities to automate key financial processes. The satisfaction from making finance processes run smoother, faster and making people delighted with our software has always been my aim. With this new role I believe I can have a bigger impact on global customers, while overseeing Cashbook scaling into a much larger company,” said Mary O’Brien.
