Cashbook win ‘Credit Management Software Team of the Year’ 2019
Cashbook attended the 2019 Credit Team Awards in Dublin on the 18th October. These awards are organised by Irish Credit Management Training and are sponsored by the Business Post. They recognize the achievements of credit teams in multiple industries with a variety of categories. The Credit Team Awards acknowledge the efforts credit teams make in maintaining cashflows for their company throughout the year.
Consistent cashflow is hugely important for every business worldwide. Especially with an impending Brexit and the continuous global trade conflicts. Cashbook were involved in two categories this year. We were nominated for the “Credit Management Software Team of the Year” and were presenting the award for “International Credit Team of the Year”. Around 300 people from credit teams all over Ireland gathered in Dublin. A great opportunity to network with credit management staff and to find out who the winners were in each category.
Cashbook were thrilled to be announced as the “Credit Management Software Team of the Year” for the second year in a row. Accepting the award on behalf of the Cashbook team were Michael Twomey, Aileen Hogan and Haroon Panezai. “This award is fantastic recognition for the whole team at Cashbook, and the huge efforts made by everyone to maintain our industry-leading cash management software” stated Michael Twomey.
The “International Credit Team of the Year” award saw a coming together of the ‘books on the stage, as Facebook were announced the winners! The award was presented to Facebook by Michael Twomey from Cashbook. A huge congratulations to the Facebook team on their success, and indeed to all of the other winners on the day.
Cashbook would like to thank Irish Credit Management Training and Declan Flood for organizing such a fantastic event. It is an important awards show in the calendar year that recognizes the huge efforts of people dedicated to credit management. We are already looking forward to the 2020 event!
