Cashbook win ‘Credit Management Software Team of the Year’ 2021
On November 12th, credit teams from all over Ireland descended on Dublin for the 2021 Credit Team awards organized by Irish Credit Management Training. Compered on the day by CEO of ICMT, Declan Flood, and sponsored by The Business Post. Last year’s awards had to be canceled due to the ongoing pandemic, so it was fantastic they were able to go ahead safely this year. The awards recognize all of the hard work that credit teams in multiple industries across Ireland put in throughout the year. Cash flow is now more important than ever before, as many companies are finding it difficult to get paid on time in this challenging climate.
The hard work and dedication of credit professionals often go unrecognized. The awards are there to distinguish these professionals and to identify the very best teams in credit departments nationally. At this year’s awards, Cashbook was presenting the award for “FMCG Credit Team of the Year” and was also nominated for “Credit Management Software Team of the Year” sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) Ireland Branch.
It was great to be back meeting people in person again, the awards were being handed out alongside a fantastic luncheon. The moment of truth arrived as Cashbook were announced as winners of “Credit Management Software Team of the Year”. Accepting the award on behalf of the whole team at Cashbook were Leanne O’Connor, Business Development Executive, and Michael Twomey, Marketing Manager. Leanne mentioned, “It’s great to win an award for our software, the Cashbook team put in a huge collective effort in improving and developing functionality in our software to help companies automate their cash efficiently”. This award is a reflection of the whole team at Cashbook and the continuous work being placed into delivering a high-quality global software solution.
In the category Cashbook was sponsoring, ‘FMCG Credit Team of the Year’, Leanne O’Connor took to the stage and announced the 2021 winners as JTI. Congratulations to JTI and their credit team on such a deserved success in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, a great win for the company.
Cashbook would like to congratulate all of the other award winners at the 2021 Credit Awards. A big thanks to Irish Credit Management Training and its CEO, Declan Flood, for organizing such a fantastic event in what still are challenging times. It was a very safe and enjoyable event, which was much needed after a two-year hiatus. We look forward to more in-person Credit Team awards in the future. Well done to all involved.
