Inforum 19 – Our review of the conference

Infor’s new CEO, Kevin Samuelson, delivering his keynote speech at the opening of Inforum 19.

In September, Cashbook descended on New Orleans, Louisiana for the Inforum 19 conference. This event attracts 5,000 attendees from over 60 countries over four days. Inforum is our most significant event of the year and Cashbook have been an Infor partner since 2010. This was our ninth successive Inforum conference, so we are seasoned veterans at this stage. A lot of Cashbook customers are running Infor ERPs such as: BPCS/LX, XA/MAPICS, Lawson S3, Lawson M3, and S21. These ERPs are a great fit for our Cash Application automation solutions, and we have a long history of implementations with them over the past number of years.

Cashbook get to meet a lot of our customers at Inforum in such a fantastic location and environment. There were great networking events and entertainment scheduled each evening, and both Christina Aguilera and Salt-N-Pepa were playing at Inforum 19. Inforum is always a very insightful event as we discover the direction Infor are taking on their journey. We also learn of the technical advancements Infor are making with both new and existing products.

Cashbook met great people from companies in various industries over the four days. There was great interest at our booth for our cash automation solutions: Cash Application, Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliation automation. We met with many of our customers and partners. Such as our partner VersaPay, who were attending their very first Inforum. We also met Cendien who interviewed Cashbook CEO, Greg Coulter, on the ‘Higher Expertise’ podcast with Cendien CEO, Israel Denis. Cashbook sponsored the Mid-west Lawson User Group (MWLUG) Inforum members reception on Monday at Pat O’s on the river. Infor recently announced that Inforum 2020 will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 14-16th. Cashbook are looking forward to attending this, in what will be our 10th consecutive Inforum. We can’t think of a better location to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We hope to see you all in Las Vegas next year!
